Strong Female Iconography

Hey all. When I was gathering material for today there seemed to be a theme so I opted out of posting all of the images I had wanted to share and instead edited this post for strong female images. There seems to be such a polarity in fashion right now for women, not that this is a new concept, but it is playing out very strongly due to the recent innocent/feminine/girly looks we saw heavily on the runway in Spring. This contrasts with the overtly sexual themes such as bondage that were being approached in fall. Add to this the grunge trend lingering along with a general who gives a F* attitude that has yet to have disappeared from mainstream fashion, we now have hardcore moto-element with a masculine strength contrasted with a feminine, conservative, I cover myself and embrace my femininity therefore have power, idea. Add to that a controversial Lana del Rey who has created fame out of an  image, these ideas begin to carry weight. Enjoy, ponder and contemplate because these gals are definitely flogworthy.
Cheers.
